Hey ho folks, it’s been a while and I seem to have been neglecting this blog lately (as usual). Being knee deep in work doesn’t really help, but I know that’s not a real excuse.

To make up for lost time, I *do* have some stuff to review, in line with my recently renewed passion for Vaping, now that I’ve finally “upgraded” to Regulated Mods (finally).

So, without further ado, here’s the first: A Review on the device I deemed good enough to make the jump to reg-mods for.

Say hello to the eLeaf iStick Pico.

Something interesting seem to be brewing on Indiegogo since last month. Meet the MicFlip, one of the few reversible microUSB cables to have popped up on crowdfunding sites lately….

… all of which seem to be promoting themselves as the “solution” to the age old problem of inserting microUSB cables “the right side up” – by making both sides “right”.

A few days into using the Pacsafe Camsafe Venture V16 (pfft… such a mouthful), I’m still not quite sure if it’s a winner or otherwise. Not to say that it’s a bad bag… no. It’s actually a rather pleasant bag.

To be honest, while my logical brain tells me that it’s never going to match the convenience and comfort of my other slinger (the Lowepro Passport Sling III), in reality I’m still using the V16 and it hasn’t made me rush out to unload stuff back into the Passport Sling… yet.

But first, here’s a summary for all you skimscanners out there:

+ Well built out of quality (if not slightly flimsy) materials.
+ Compartments well organized and capable of carrying a respectable load for the size.
+ Laptop compartment as specced – barely takes an MSI GE40 14-incher with battery removed.
+ “Anti-theft” features seem to NOT be simple gimmicks (so far).
– Camera compartment needs more divider configurations.
– Comfort depends on load. Put in too much and you’ll suffer.
– Main strap adjustment a little complicated.
– For the MSRP… not really worth it just for the “features”. Needs to be priced 1/4 less to be competitive.

And before I go into the actual trip, let’s go into a little background shall we?
